Professional Summary

Reginalea (Reggi) Sturns-Kemp is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, College of Business and The University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture.  Upon graduating from college, Reggi was hired as a Regional Account Manager for a national health and beauty company.  Followed by years of working with the Federal Aviation Administration in the areas of employee evaluations, retention and training.  While employed by the government she returned to college for a second degree and later launched and owned a Design and Construction Consulting Firm called A Claim Design and Development.  

In 2000 Reggi joined forces, with her then husband, to manage, and operate Kemp and Sons General Services.  She focused on making critical investments in technology, processes, employee training and back office operations.  Her goal was to position the company to aggressively go after new market segments like the Federal Government, Health Care and Transportation.   Revenues increased 18 fold from 1998 to 2016 and a satellite location was opened.  Awards for growth and expansion led to recognition by some of the foremost business magazine in America and we were recognized by The Initiative for Competitive Inner City [ICIC].  Founded in 1994 by Harvard Professor Michael Porter, it is an nonprofit research and strategy organization and the leading authority on U.S. inner city economies and the businesses.

A staunch community advocate and philanthropist, Reggi has served or is currently involved with the: Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business [10ksb] graduate, The Women’s Center of Tarrant County Board of Directors, RED Worldwide Advisory Board Member, Women Steering Business Board of Directors and Charter member, United Way of Tarrant County (former member of the Board of Directors), William Man Community Development Corporation [former Board of Director], United Way Special Allocations Committee on Homelessness [selected to serve]  and former member of Women’s President Organization, Leadership Fort Worth, American Society of Interior Designers, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce-Huntsville, Alabama, and the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
